Hi, How are you? I just want to say hello to you and to your Mom and also Joelle. It made me happy to know that you got to share a nice Christmas time with your family. Do you want to know why? Because one of the most valuable things in life is, to have family to share with  on days like those. God bless you and also your family. Tomorrow I won't see you because I am going to Fairfield with Flerida to see our friend Geno. But it doesn't mean that you are not on my heart.

Hi Laura, Joanne and Joelle.

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas with all your family. We spent Christmas with all the children, there were 14 adults and 9 children under 6 years of age, you can imagine what that scene was like. Kaitlyn and Nicholas (my sister Jackie's son) being the oldest made out real good from Santa.
Michelle, Jennifer and I had a special prayer said for Laura at St. Cecilia's Church, we hope it was from our mouth's to god's ears. We will include all her friends in our special prayer.
I hope you all have a great New Year's Eve. (Laura and Joelle watch your Mother and that Champagne Bottle!!) I will be praying for miracles to happen in 2002.

Hi Laura!
     It's me, Cat. Sorry I haven't seen you in so long or e-mailed you. I've been wicked busy. I've had cheerleading practice after school from 2:30 to 4:30 and I also have practice over vacation. I made competition team and also gotten my first varsity letter. All this in my freshman year! I've also made  honor roll and I've heard you have too. Congratulations!
    We got some snow up here. E, my best friend who lives down there in Secret Lake, said that you guys didn't get much snow and that it's all melting. well, we got like six inches. My friend, Carlijah and I were betting on it being a snow day and it wasn't, so we were kinda mad. N e way school is awesome. I thought it would suck going to a private academy, but it's so cool. Friday, my english class took a trip to the theaters. We saw The Lord Of The Rings- The Fellowship Of The Ring. It was so cool. The movie was only like 3 hours long and i was like "dude this is so short", and my friend was like, "dude, that was three hours long!". Wow I'm fast. We went to see it cuz we were reading the book in english. It was so good, I started the Trilogy. It is so cool!!!! Plus this guy in the movie who plays Legolas, this elf, (they should make a drooling smily face) he is sooooo hot!!! hehehehehe, im so pathetic.
    This stupid keyboard stinks. Its all sticky and stuff. I like my computer. It isn't this dumb. :0D
So, hows the holidays? I'm gonna send you guys some stuff from my whole family and I'll try to stick a letter in with it. I still have to go shopping and get some people some stuff. I was gonna get them cd's. What do u listen to by the way? There's this band called Incubus. E got me to listen to them and it's awesome. It's kinda nerve racking at times, but I like it. It's alternative rock. I'm listening to them right now. I have a headache.... ow! that tells u something about them. hehe.
    Mom's got this cd playing too. It's called the Jingle Cats. Its Christmas carols with different pitched meows instead of words. It's funny as all heck.
    So nothing is really different with my life. I had a boyfriend but I dumped him. I got a date though! we're going skiing over new years weekend. It's gonna be fun. Hi Laura Dahlin!!!
We got home earlier from the Polar Express up here in God's country (check out what I wrote to Nikki).  So sorry we didn't touch base with you and your Mom and Joelle at Thanksgiving time.  I was surely tired!!  I had 3 US Marines at our dinner table - 14 of us all together.  I feel OLD!
Caught up with your web page and see you're doing good KID!  Our life here is very busy.  I have to schlep Cat to Fryeburg Academy every morning (I put 250 miles on my old truck every week!) but she has been on the honor roll since she started.  She has also joined the cheer leading squad and is busy with that.  Plus she's made a couple contacts with some 'hot guys' on the Polar express too.  She's really funny.  She's got a lot of homework but she's a good student.  Lia is in the 4th grade and doing well at school.  Amanda and Mike are working too.  Now I need to get busy!!
Our tree is up and I shudder each time the 2 kittens are loose - thanks to Amanda we are two more animals in number.  I'll never be able to downsize my vehicle from a Suburban to a smaller car - too many animals!!!  We had 6 inches of snow the other day and it's beautiful here.  No coyotes lately though.  Although we did have a moose lurking in the woods off the side of the tracks during the Polar Express.  Check out Nikki's site about that.  We have had so much fun this year.
Your website is awesome, Laura.  Even though I'm not on the Internet that often, I can keep up with what is going on with you and the family.  We admire your spirit and courage and also that of Nikki's.  You are God's gift of friendship to US and we are grateful because you young ladies show the true meaning of faith.  We love you.
We pray you continue to do well and if we do get the opportunity to get to CT over the Christmas holiday, we'll call and have an egg nog or 2 ... or 3.... or 4.....

HEY LAURA, HOPE ALL IS WELL THERE AND THAT YOU WILL BE HOME AGAIN SOON.  I KEEP TRYING TO REACH YOU BUT I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE THE MOST POPULAR TEEN AT CCMC.  I HOPE YOU ENJOYED DOMENIC'S RENDITION OF JINGLE BELLS ON FRIDAY AS WELL AS AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL.  HE REALLY ENJOYS SINGING LATELY AND BREAKS INTO SONG OFTEN.  TODAY I WORKED THE KITCHEN AT A WRESTLING TOURNAMENT AT ANTHONY'S SCHOOL.  THERE WERE 9 SCHOOLS THERE OF WRESTLERS WHO WERE VERY HUNGRY AFTER THEIR EVENTS.  IT IS VERY INTERESTING TO WATCH THE MATCHES.  ANTHONY'S TEAM STARTS NEXT WEEK.  HE HAS REALLY GOTTEN INTO SHAPE AND IS VERY MOTIVATED.  TODAY WAS THE FIRST DAY THAT IT ALMOST FELT LIKE WINTER HERE ALTHOUGH IT DID REACH 63 LATE IN THE DAY.  SANTA CLAUS CAME BY ON A FIRE TRUCK WHICH WAS FUN TO SEE.     I was checking email and realized that I hadn't written back. How are you and your family?
    Mom and I bought our tree yesterday. Now all we need to do is figure out when to decorate it. Yesterday was the first day that it has actually felt like December.
    I'm working at three rinks right now and am having fun at all of them.

Rules for Being Human

1. You will receive a body. You may not like it or hate it, but it is yours for this time around.

7. Others are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something
about another person unless it reflects to something you love or hate about yourself.

8. What you make of your life is up to you.  You have all the tools and
resources you need. What you
do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

9. Your answers lay inside of you. The answers to life's questions are
inside you. All you need to do is look, listen & trust.

Hi Laura....I received your web site information from the Catholic Chiropractor's Assoc.  I am new to being a chiropractor, but not new to praying and I will include you in my prayers for God to continue to give you courage, and surround you with the best health providers so your body can once again become as strong as you would like.  I firmly believe that God does have Angels at work...some are not seen, and others take the form of people that we meet on this Earth.  May all the forms of Angels be with you and bring you health and joy especially during this time of celebration of Jesus' birth.

Dear Laura,

My name is Trish Murphy and I live in Avon.   I have three daughters - grades 6, 4, and 2 (Pine Grove and AMS).

My reason for writing is to offer you some information about a women who recently was Canonized by the Pope.  Her name is Mother Aviat.  I do not know if you are Catholic, but in order to become a Saint, 3 miracles must be proven.  One of Mother Aviat's miracles occurred in the town where I grew up - Drexel Hill, PA.  There is a girl named Bernadette, who was cured of a life threatening back injury.  I was living in Drexel Hill at the time.  My husband's family still lives in this Parish (Saint Bernadette's).

I was just home for Thanksgiving, and there was an article about Mother Aviat's Canonization in the local paper - the Phila Inquirer.

I will send you an email version of the articles.  I will also be praying to Mother Aviat on your behalf.
